Cat Care Hospital

Cat Care Hospital offers an outstanding boarding facility for your cat(s). We appreciate the opportunity to care for your cat when you are out of town or unable to care for him/her yourself. Please let us know how we can make your cat’s stay more pleasant.

Our boarding facility is located in the lower level of the hospital, which is centrally cooled and heated, and separate from hospitalized or ill patients. This area is quiet and relaxing, making your cat’s stay more calm and pleasant.  Kennels for boarding range in size. All kennels have a shelf for your cat to “lounge” on. A kennel for cats in the same family who wish to board together is also available. All cats are provided with a blanket, litterbox and food and water. Any blankets or toys you would like to bring will be left with your cat to make here seem more like home.  Iams Adult and Hills Science Diet Adult are the foods available to boarders. If your cat’s diet differs from these foods, we strongly recommend providing a sufficient supply of your cat’s food to avoid intestinal upset and stress.

If your cat requires medical or preventive treatment while boarding, we will be happy to provide these services. We are happy to provide any necessary medical or grooming services during boarding.  An estimate of costs will be provided at check-in. This form must be signed by the owner before your pet can be boarded. A deposit of one-half of the estimated charges will be required at drop-off for first-time clients.  Payment in full is required at check-out.

All cats boarded at Cat Care Hospital must be current on the FVRCPC vaccine (distemper and airborne upper respiratory viruses) and free of external parasite (ex. fleas). If not, they will be treated upon entry at the owner’s expense.

Reservations in advance are required for boarding. Please call as early as possible, especially during holidays and school breaks, since space is limited.

Schedule of Fees

Regular Boarding:    $16.00 per night
Diabetic Boarding:    $21.00 per night
Medication:              $2.00 per administration

Boarding fees are charged by the night.

Mon. & Thurs.          8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday             CLOSED
Tuesday & Friday    8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday                  8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sunday                    CLOSED

Check-in and check-out is available only during regular office hours - no exceptions.  Boarders are cared for by staff members on evenings and weekends when the clinic is closed, but there is no pick-up or drop-off during these times.
